Economic handmade magnetic bars - Maple - L'Aiguisoir

These bars contain two rows of flexible linear magnets. They are less powerful than the more expensive version. For certain knives that don't have much contact surface, or for very heavy knives such as cleavers, we recommend that you use them with the handle facing upwards. We have developed these bars in view of the rising price of rare-earth magnets. Large clearance to allow fingers to grip knives. Easy to install with keyhole slots (screws and anchors included). They can be also industrial double-sided adhesive tape (endo is not waxed). The bars are waxed with Caron & Doucet wax from Morin-Heights. We recommend waxing them from time to time. They are lovingly made by Tony and Christine of Productions Bec-Scie in Val-David, just like our leather strops.
