The L'Aiguisoir leather strop lets you maintain sharpness of your knives for months (6 to 12 months depending on knife use and steel quality). It's gentle on the blade and easy to use.

In common usage, sharpening is sometimes confused with stroping, which is the process of operation designed to straighten and recenter the edge of a blade to produce a burr-free edge.

This leather strop, originally made by L'Aiguisoir and now crafted with love by the company Productions Bec-Scie located in Val-David, is made of maple wood and leather from the Tannerie des Ruisseaux from Kamouraska (Quebec).
