The Tormek T-4 Original is a compact quality machine ideal for home and amateur use, or for professionals with limited space. Knives, scissors, clipper blades and wood chisels. Virtually any cutting tool you can think of can be sharpened sharper than when it arrived new with Tormek's comprehensive device system. The universal backing provides precise repeatability and you get a razor blade edge with the leather dehoning disc.

The Tormek T-4 Original offers the same precision and stability as our larger models, but in a compact size. Vital functions like the motor and main shaft are mounted in the zinc die-cast top, where patented universal support sleeves are also integrated. This design provides unbeatable precision for the universal support that guides all devices and accessories.
Compact and versatile
Like the larger machine models, the Tormek T-4 Original comes with the original Tormek grinding wheel. Grinding wheel models are distinguished by their size. The original Tormek SG-200 Grinding Wheel is optimized to combine efficient steel removal, a beautiful finish and a long life. The SP-650 Grinding Wheel Prep provided with the machine allows you to alternate the surface of the grinding wheel from 220 grit to a surface equivalent to 1000 grit, resulting in several functions in the same grinding wheel.
For the sharpness of all tools
The Tormek T-4 Original is ideal for sharpening wood chisels, knives, scissors and small tools such as wood carving tools. It also works great with drill bits and wood lathe tools. We recommend one of Tormek's larger models for sharpening flatter blades and molding knives. Please note that some types of woodturning gouges cannot be honed using the SVD-186 R Gouge Device on the leather honing disc due to the compact size of the Tormek T-4 Original. These tools can be hammered freehand.
