Chef 6" - Damascus SG2 - Bob Kramer/Zwilling
Chef 6" - Damascus SG2 - Bob Kramer/Zwilling
It's hard to classify this knife. Its design, created by American Bob Kramer, is unique! Although Bob Kramer continues to make knives by hand in his workshop in Washington state, Zwilling-Henckel has been producing knives based on his work for some time. Manufactured in Japan using powder-metallurgy steels, they are greatly appreciated by Kramer knife enthusiasts who can't afford a $30,000 auction knife!
Its distinctive design is characterized by an arched shape, a very high heel (for extraordinary durability) and a relatively rounded, indestructible handle (Micarta).
Knife weight: heavy
The slightly more difficult sharpening of these blades (SG2) requires the use of professional stones.
